Well as we explained earlier that DSS is not a typical course in accounting or IT. In fact it is the blending of both the disciplines and it is directed to integrate IT tools with accounting models to facilitate business decision making process. The contents of this course are based on years of research carried out by us so that the participants get the best of the two worlds of accounting and IT. Many of the participants of DSS have been successfully employed by various organizations on the basis of this course both in Pakistan and abroad. All the participants of this course receive a certificate plus an internship certificate for six to twelve months (depending upon the number of modules opted for by the student).  

Well the DSS program is run through spreadsheet applications. There is no need to have a prior knowledge of IT applications. The whole course is designed to facilitate the participants in both IT and accounting disciplines. The design and mode of delivery of course is structured keeping in view the participant’s level of understanding. So there should be no such fear that the course will be difficult to comprehend.

The syllabus contents include the accounting cycle, capital budgeting techniques, operational budgets, forecasting models, economic analysis, financial analysis and many other related techniques which are essential for the finance function in an organization.
